DRA - TRAINING

Training in all aspects of security management is a particular speciality of DRA. Whether it is corporate and executive security (including UK SIA-accredited Close Protection Officer training), Team Leadership and Project Management, National Security and Policing development or academic study into strategic security management, DRA can deliver the exact programme to meet your needs.

Through our close connections with a range of specialist security institutes, including Cranfield University which is the civilian academic branch of the UK Defence Academy, DRA can provide the full range of security-development services, including basic police training, officer training, the creation of academic courses (from basic certification of skills up to and including internationally recognised MSc programmes), as well as specific policing and security programmes such as detection skills, crime scene management, forensic skills, intelligence-led policing, counter-terrorism, VIP Close Protection, Emergency and Crisis Management, and Strategic Command Leadership programmes.

CP - CLOSE PROTECTION TRAINING

David Rubens has been in involved in UK security training since 1991. DRA is accredited by the UK Security Industry Authority to deliver Close Protection training programmes, allowing successful participants of the 2-week course to apply for their SIA CP license. Over four hundred people have successfully completed the DRA SIA CP programme, and we have run similar programmes in other countries across Europe.

ACADEMIC/VOCATIONAL TRAINING

DRA can develop a mixed academic/vocational training programme to suit your specific needs.

Examples of our work include a one-week security management training course that has been accepted by Saudi Aramco, the largest oil company in the world, for use by its senior security managers, and a similar course for Regional Commanders of the Nigerian National Security and Civil Defence Corps.

DRA also created a comprehensive integrated National Security Sector restructuring programme for the Liberian government, based around the establishment of a National Police College that would allow all personnel to benefit from the highest levels of international police and security training.
